Report: Billy Gillispie is back, gets Texas Tech job

Yup. You heard that correctly. Two years after being let go at Kentucky due to a myriad of issues. Gillispie and new Tech AD Kirby Hocutt have come up with a 5-year deal that will feature Gillispie taking over for the fired Pat Knight.

Gillispie had what could almost be a spectacular flameout in Lexington after being named the SEC Basketball coach of the year in 2008. He came to Kentucky after leading Texas A and M to unprecedented success the previous couple of years.

The paper says the "Official" announcement will be on Wednesday.
