OSG High: HS Baseball Players Kicked Off Team For Chicken Sacrifice

Police in the Dallas area are investigating whether two high school baseball players sacrificed chickens in a bid to try and "improve their games."

Police in the town of Benbrook released a police report saying a 15- and 16-year-old "engaged in acts that caused the death of two baby chickens. It appears that superstition relating to a slump in baseball performance could have played a part."

Western Hills High School ((TX)) baseball coach Bobby McIntire says he has not had a chance to talk to the students about the "why." He told the Fort Worth Star-Telegram that "baseball is very superstitious" and the idea possibly came from movies...

School officials say the boys have been kicked off the team.

And the HQ knows exactly where they got the idea...

But the first problem was that the high schoolers, allegedly, killed baby chickens. They needed to be adults to get the hex off their gloves, but the Bulls had to settle for a bucket of fried chicken. The athletes were not paying attention...

Focus, boys... focus...
