TWTW: Miami Gets MAC Title

((HT: ESPN/Youtube))

Of course, it also helps when you get conversions like this on 4th and 20

Last year Miami of Ohio lost 11 games. Now, the Miami RedHawks are Mid-American Conference champions.

Austin Boucher threw a touchdown pass to Armand Robinson with 33 seconds left and Miami of Ohio won the MAC championship with a 26-21 victory over Northern Illinois (25th BCS/24th AP).

"Sometimes it's better to be lucky than good," Boucher said. "It got tipped but the play still got made."The RedHawks (8-4) have been both.

The HQ has no idea how Robinson got that WIDE OPEN!!!

The other "champion" Miami wins the MAC for the first time since 2003 and their conference-best 15th title overall a season after they finished 1-11.

Hurrahs and appropriate huzzahs to Mike Haywood when no one gave him much of a chance to do anything...
