Roethlisberger Suspension Trimmed To Four

((HT: KDKA-TV))

Ben Roethlisberger's suspension has been reduced from six games to four by NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell.

The Pittsburgh Steelers' star quarterback met with Goodell early Friday and was told he could return on October 17th for the game against the Cleveland Browns. The Steelers were trying to bring him back the week before for the game against the Baltimore Ravens, but the Commish wouldn't bite...

Goodell was satisfied that Roethlisberger has followed the league's guidelines for personal conduct and stayed out of trouble since March.

Call it "good behavior..."

Roethlisberger was accused of sexually assaulting a Georgia college student during a night of drinking in a Milledgeville, Georgia, bar back on March 5th. He was not charged by Georgia authorities- as much as they would have liked to...

Really, really would have liked to...
