Tood Holcomb and Chip Saye of the GHSF Daily have unearthed some disturbing news possibly related to Former Georgia Super 11 running back, Washington High's Nick Turner.
Turner's mother, Jennifer Dix, received a phone call after Turner apparently disappeared Saturday claiming that Turner had been shot and killed. She could go to a specific location to find the body. When she did, joined by police, shell casings were discovered, but no body was found. Turner is now missing and presumed dead.
Turner, an AJC Super 11 pick in 2001, was Mississippi State's leading rusher as a sophomore in 2003 ahead of the Atlanta Falcons Jerious Norwood. Turner was suspended as a freshman after he was charged with passing counterfeit bills. He was reinstated but later dismissed by head coach Sylvester Croom.
Turner finished his career at Murray State.
