Former Braves pitcher lucky to escape House Fire

The use to say that former Atlanta Braves relief pitcher Mark Wohlers brought the heat. Tuesday, the heat came to him.

Wohlers and his family narrowly escaped a fire in their home in Milton, a small suburb north of Atlanta. The fire broke out just after midnight Tuesday morning. It was Wohlers's wife who discovered there was a fire and got the family out of the house.

Investigators are still trying to figure out the cause of the fire, which pretty much leveled the home.

For those unfamiliar, Wohlers was the closer for the Braves in the mid-90's. He got the clinching save for the Braves when they won the 1995 World Series.
