Panama City HS Football player recovering from Blood Clot in Brain

Carlos Wells is a lucky young man. The Bay High school running back was airlifted from his teams game this past Friday night to Children's Hospital at the University of Alabama-Birmingham, after he became ill and was sent to a local hospital. That hospital made the life saving decision to send him to Birmingham.

Thankfully, the initial fears...that the injury was concussion related, were wrong. A blood clot was removed from his brain and Wells is in critical condition, but recovering in Birmingham.
