Cleveland Indians rookie catcher Carlos Santana was carted off the field at Fenway Park with his left leg in an air cast after Red Sox rookie Ryan Kalish plowed into him at home plate in a collision to beat the tag.
Kalish was attempting to score on a single to right field by pinch hitter Daniel Nava, when he slid into Santana's left leg which was blocking the plate.
Santana applied the tag for the out, but lain down in obvious pain.
The game was stopped for 12 minutes as trainers immobilized the leg.
Here's the injury, until it gets pulled...
Since it's off a TV, you can kinda see the left leg go places it's not supposed to...
